• U.S. Chamber Statement on Nebraska Keystone XL Decision

Press Release
August 23, 2019

Christopher Guith, Acting President, U.S. Chamber's Global Energy Institute issued the following statement on the Nebraska Keystone XL Decision:

"Today’s decision by the Nebraska Supreme Court to allow the Keystone XL pipeline route to proceed removes another major hurdle to construction. Keystone XL is one of the most reviewed pieces of infrastructure in history. As the Court noted, the Nebraska Public Service Commission carefully considered the route and found it was in the public interest. While Keystone XL may be a poster child for the need for permitting reforms, it also remains in America’s economic and energy security interest to build it, and we look forward to the project moving forward."
