This year, we are celebrating our tenth anniversary of the Global Energy Institute’s first Index of U.S. Energy Security Risk (Index). What a difference a decade can make.
The 2019 edition of the Global Energy Institute’s (GEI) Index of U.S. Energy Security Risk (Index) employs the most recent historical and forecast data to measure U.S. energy security risks. The Index covers the period from 1970 to 2040, and it incorporates 37 different measures of energy security risk in nine categories.
