Dear Administrator Wheeler: The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) supports the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed rule: Increasing Consistency and Transparency in Considering Benefits and Costs in the Clean Air Act Rulemaking Process. 85 FR 35,612 (June 11, 2020).
In its proposed rule, EPA proposes to establish procedural requirements governing the development and presentation of benefit-cost analyses for significant rulemakings under the Clean Air Act. Id. ADEQ agrees with EPA’s proposed rule.
