In response to the Administration’s final rule on Clean Water Act Section 401 revisions, Global Energy Institute president Marty Durbin issued the following statement:
“We appreciate EPA’s work to finalize a new rule to facilitate construction of needed energy infrastructure and facilitate economic growth. Congress never intended for Governors to use the Clean Water Act as a political tool to block projects for reasons unrelated to clean water, and this new rule will help curtail that abuse.”
