North Dakota has become a shining example of low unemployment and a robust economy. That`s why U.S. Chamber President Thomas Donohue made a stop in Bismarck today. Donohue highlighted how the nation`s energy prospects could address federal budget deficits.

He said he`s read about North Dakota, but had to visit for himself. "I wanted to come here and taste it and smell it and look at it. And be able to go home and speak with just a little more authority about what`s been done here and what could be done somewhere else."

Donohue says he believes energy development can help the rest of the country get back on track.
